Age suitability of our bean bags
We do tend to be cautious when advising on the age suitability of our products as children come in so many shapes and sizes.
We have added filters to the website to help but if you require further guidance please contact one of our team who will be happy to help.
Personalisation
Many of our products can be personalised which can be added when you are placing your order.
When ordering through our website there is a limit to how many characters can be added but if you need more then please contact us as we may be able to help. Unfortunately, we cannot add emojis or special characters.
If personalisation is not offered on the website then please do feel free to check with our team to see if we can add that for you. Please either email [email protected] or call us on 01254 685570 for further information.
Please note that if you choose to personalise this product with a name, the font style may vary depending on product choice and your order will be exempt from our returns policy.
Photo Products
We offer personalised photos on many of our products including messages to help you create the most perfect gift.
Please ensure that you supply a high-quality image which can be in jpg, jpeg or png formats.
Please note that products that are personalised with photographs or messages will be exempt from our returns policy.
Do the bean bags come filled?
We supply all of our products with the bean filling.
Due to courier restrictions some of our larger products are shipped part-filled and do require some simple assembly.
Can I order a bean bag cover without the filling?
We can supply all of our products as a cover only.

Can I have a bean bag made using my own material?
Yes, please either call us on 01254 685570 or email [email protected] with the product name that you would like and one of the team will be happy to help.
Can we order custom products?
If you are looking for a more bespoke beanbag then please do not hesitate to speak to us to see if this is something that we can help with.
We have made a huge variety of custom-sized beanbags and even a sausage roll!

Are the Indoor/Outdoor bean bags waterproof?
Our Indoor/Outdoor fabric is water resistant, which means they are able to resist the penetration of water to some degree but not entirely.
To keep your beanbags in the best condition we recommend that they be stored indoors in a dry condition when not in use. This way you should get years of pleasure from your beanbag.
Are the Indoor/Outdoor bean bags UV protected?
The Indoor/Outdoor fabric is designed to be used outdoors and is tested to a 'Colourfast to light - level 5', however with all fabrics, if left in direct sunlight, the colours may lighten over time.
Are our bean bags suitable for children with a Spica Cast?
We have previously supplied our small kids bean bags or our junior squashy squarbie bean bags for small children with a spica cast.
We would not recommend the Gaga beanbags as they have a harness and may have a slight risk of tipping.
Our products are not specifically designed for this purpose and we would recommend that you seek professional guidance.
Pricing & Payments
Payment options
We accept payment by most credit and debit cards with the exception of American Express.
You can also pay using Paypal and Google Pay when ordering through the website.
VAT on orders going to The Channel Isles
We offer free delivery to Mainland UK addresses only, there would normally be a delivery charge to the channel islands.
However, when you place your order the system automatically charges the VAT but you have not been charged for delivery.

What delivery services do you offer?
We offer free next-day delivery on all stock products to mainland UK postcodes. For up-to-date delivery information, please see our delivery page
How will I know my order is on its way?
Once your order is complete we will send you an email to let you know that it is ready to be collected by the courier. You will receive tracking information and your order can then be tracked using the relevant courier website.

My tracking link isn't working?
Tracking will update once your parcel has been scanned at the courier depot and this can take up to 24 hours.
If after 24 hours the courier tracking has still not updated please contact us at [email protected] or on 01254 685570 and we will be happy to look into this for you.
Can I have my order delivered to a different address?
The first address that you input at the checkout is the address to which we will deliver your order. If your billing address is different please add this on the second page before adding your payment details.
Delivery to non UK destinations
Unfortunately we cannot offer delivery outside of the UK at the present time. This can change and we would recommend that you contact us on 01254 685570 or at [email protected] to check on the current situation.

Can I add to my existing order?
If your order is still at rucomfy we may well be able to add to it for you, please call us as soon as possible on 01254 685570 and we will try to help you.
Unfortunately once your beanbag has left rucomfy we can no longer amend your order.

I forgot to add an offer to my order, can I have this now?
We are really very sorry that you missed one of our offers.
If your order is still at rucomfy we may well still be able to add this for you, please call us as soon as possible on 01254 685570 and we will try to help you.
Unfortunately our offers are only available when you are ordering at the same time as ordering a beanbag so if your beanbag has already left rucomfy we can no longer offer this at the same discounted price.
However, we would be happy to arrange for you to place a new order at a reduced price.

Can I change my delivery address?
We are unable to change your delivery address during the pre-order stage as we are aware of fraudulent activity with orders. We take preventative measures which ensure fraud is not committed on our website.
Unfortunately once your beanbag has left rucomfy we can no longer guarantee this but may be able to contact the courier on your behalf.

No order confirmation
When you place an order you should automatically receive an email confirmation.
If you have not received this there could be a couple of reasons, have you checked your spam/junk folder? Do you have another email address that might be connected to your paypal account?
If you have checked all this please let us know and we will get another copy to you as quickly as possible.
What happens if my order is delayed?
We aim to deliver your order within 4 - 7 working days, unless an express delivery service has been selected.
Sometimes things do go wrong and delays can happen. We will try our best to keep you up to date from the earliest possibility with any delay that has affected your order and to fulfill this as quickly as possible.
If you really cannot wait then we would be more than happy to help you to find a suitable alternative.
Placed an order but want to cancel it
We’re thrilled that you ordered from us but if you do want to cancel please contact one of our team during working hours on 01254 685570 and we will see if your order can still be cancelled.
Unfortunately we cannot cancel orders once they have left rucomfy or if they are personalised once production has begun.
Should you successfully cancel your order we will arrange for a refund to your original method of payment within 7 working days.
Received My Order
Received faulty or wrong product
Every effort is made to ensure that all of our products leave us exactly as we want you to receive them, however, sometimes things do go wrong. If this has happened to something that you have ordered, please notify us of faulty or damaged items within 48 hours of receiving your item delivery. We strive to resolve issues as quickly as possible for you.

Not as expected
We really hope that you are thrilled with your order but if this isn’t quite what you are looking for/expecting, then please let us know. One of the team will be happy to talk you through our returns procedure or guide you if you would like to exchange your order.

I have received the wrong size of bean bag
Our products are measured when unfilled and the sizes on our website reflect this so to get an accurate measurement you would need to measure from corner to corner down the length and width of the cover with the fabric held taut.
If you have checked this and still feel that you have received the wrong item, please email [email protected] with some photographs and one of the team will get back to you as quickly as possible.
No easYfill in my order
If you have ordered one of our washbags but it seems to be missing.
Please ensure that you have removed all your order from the box as the easyfill washbag can often be overlooked when it is packed beneath your beanbag.
If you still do not locate your easy fill bag could you please contact us to let us know and send us a copy of the shipping note that was included with your order and we will look into this for you.
My new bean bag is underfilled
Perfectly Filled?
We supply all of our beanbags with a measured amount of filling so that you can sit in rather than on your beanbag. This way the correct amount of beans will ergonomically mould to your shape creating the best beanbag experience. If we were to overfill your beanbag then this would make the beanbag hard and uncomfortable.
Delivery?
Have you received all of your order?
Some of our larger beanbags are sent part filled with some of the filling being sent separately, sometimes this may arrive at a different time than your beanbag. You can look at the label on the box(es) to see how many parcels you should have received. If you have not yet received all of your order then please give the courier a little extra time to get any outstanding parcels to you.
However if you have received all of your parcels and you still feel that your beanbag is underfilled please email [email protected] with a photograph of your bean bag and one of the team will get back to you as quickly as possible.
The zip is faulty
The trouble that you are experiencing is due to a safety feature that appears on all of our products.
The first Zip is purposefully manufactured to be upside down as a safety precaution so that young children cannot access the filling inside of the beanbag.
You can feel the head of the zip through the fabric on the base, so you are able to unzip it. It can be a little bit tricky at first.
My bean bag has gone flat
As the filling is made from expandable polystyrene it does as is the nature of the material over time compress which means that beans do need a little top up every so often.
How long this takes can depend on a variety of factors including frequency of usage etc.
We do not guarantee the filling for this reason.

General Enquiries
How do I wash my bean bag?
We do fill our beanbags directly and they do therefore need to be emptied should you wish to wash the cover.
The easiest way to empty the cover is to use one of our easyfill washbags that can be ordered from our website, you can add this at a discounted price when you are ordering a beanbag or if you are a returning customer from our website:

Do you have a shop?

Pre-order Information
Pre-orders
What exactly is a pre-order?
Products marked with the "pre-order" label in the top left corner of the image, allow you to reserve a product prior to its scheduled release date. This ensures your order is prioritised and makes sure you won't miss out!
When will I be charged for my pre-order?
Your method of payment will be charged when you place your order for the item, you will then receive an order confirmation. A follow-up email will be sent when the product is dispatched, including tracking details.
Can I return my pre-order?
When your product is delivered it is treated as a normal return process. Please see our returns policies here.
What happens if the price changes during the pre-order time?
There should not be a price fluctuation in products during the pre-order period, however, if this is something that should affect your order you are eligible for a difference refund. You will need your proof of purchase and payment receipt.
When will I receive my pre-order?
When purchasing a pre-order item, there is a text indicator just above the add to basket button which contains the message "Pre-order - Delivery from Week Commencing X", dispatch of your item is scheduled to commence on that date.
What happens if the delivery date changes?
There is a possibility of the delivery date changing due to unprecedented circumstances. You will be notified about any potential changes. rucomfy reserves the right to change the delivery date of a pre-order item.
Can I cancel my pre-order?
You can cancel your pre-order any time before the day of dispatch. To cancel your order, please contact us and include your order details.
