Refund and Return Policy

January - October: Standard Returns Policy
If you are not satisfied with your order, you may return it within 28 days of delivery (exclusions apply). We will fully refund or exchange any unused item if received back in the same packaging and condition as dispatched, with the delivery note intact. The cost of returning the product is your responsibility.
If a product has a manufacturing fault and is returned within 28 days, you may choose a full refund (including reasonable postage costs) once examined, or a repair free of charge under our 1-year guarantee.
If the product is returned after 28 days of delivery due to it having a manufacturing fault then the product will not be applicable for a refund but will be repaired or if irreparable then a replacement will be given for the SAME product in accordance with our 1 year guarantee.
November - December: Christmas Returns Policy
We have an extended Christmas returns policy that runs until the end of January. This means that any products purchased between November 1st and December 31st are returnable up until January 31st.
We offer this so that you can prepare and start buying Christmas presents in advance without the stress and worry of not being able to return them for whatever reason after Christmas.
Any claims for damage or discrepancies upon receipt of your order must be notified within 48 hours of delivery by using the contact form on our contact page, any claims made after the time scale will not be accepted.
Ensure your order is well packaged as any damage caused in transit will not be accepted and we advise that your order is returned via recorded delivery as we cannot be held liable if it is lost in transit. ENSURE YOU KEEP YOUR RECEIPT AND TRACKING NUMBER FOR YOUR RETURN.
If you do not receive any form of contact from Bags of Beans after sending your order back, then please chase your return up with the courier or postal service you used to send it back to us.
Refunds will be paid within 7 days upon receipt of the returned order.

Standard Returns Policy - Ireland
Residents of Ireland can return items if needed; however, please note that the cost of returning the products has to be paid for by the customer. We recommend using a tracked or recorded delivery service to ensure your return reaches us safely, and keeping your receipt and tracking number for reference.
Exchanging Your Order
If having received your order, you would like to exchange all or part of it, below will explain how to do so.
You have 28 days from receipt of the order to get your order back to us, to the address on the contact us page.
It is up to you, the customer to pay any returns postage in getting your order back to us. If you would like to exchange the product for a different fabric or colour or even if you would like to exchange to a completely different product then to keep the returns postage costs down we are happy to accept just the cover back and for you to keep the bead to make the returning parcel smaller. If this is not an option and you wish to send back the full order for exchange then please be aware that this can be quite costly and we are unable to arrange collection of the order.
Once you know what you would like to exchange your order for, this is how it can be done:-
* You can return the order (part or full) that you wish to exchange first and then once we have this back we can call you to place a new order. Please write on the delivery note (which you receive within your parcel when it is delivered) the details of what you are sending back (if only returning part) and write down the details of what you want to exchange to; including any sizes, colour and fabric variations and include this in your returning parcel.

If you are owed a refund, you will receive an email confirming your new order and an additional email up to 7 days later confirming your refund has been processed.
Your order will then be processed using the delivery method shown on your confirmation email.

Personalised Beanbags
Please be aware that personalised items cannot be returned or refunded due to being made to order for your specific requirements.
Personalised beanbags are exempt from both our January - October standard returns policy and November - December Christmas return policies. When an item is personalised it cannot be returned, bearing our customer's specific requirements the item is disqualified from being reused or resold.
Personalised items cannot be exchanged; whether you have chosen the wrong size, colour or design. Please ensure all personalisation information is correct at the time of purchase. Bags of Beans cannot be held responsible for product issues stemming from incorrect data entered on the order.
If your chosen name personalisation is a mistake on our part, please don’t hesitate to contact us as we would love to put it right.
Customised Items
Please note, Custom Made Orders have been made to your specific requirements and therefore cannot be returned as part of our normal return policy.
Please ensure you contact our friendly customer service staff if you have any doubts or questions about your order, we are dedicated to providing customers with the correct service and mitigating design or customisation errors.
Cushion Returns
No returns accepted for hygiene reasons. Buckwheat pillows come into close contact with the face and cannot be resold once opened. Please check all details before buying. Contact us if the item arrives damaged or not as described.

Clearance & Outlet Products
Clearance and outlet products cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded due to the nature of their category.
Any manufacturer errors such as fabric imperfections and small manufacturer errors are explicitly specified for outlet products and therefore are not a viable reason for return.
If your beanbag is damaged during shipping further than described, you have 28 days from receipt of the order to get your order back to us, to the address on the Contact Us page.
Damaged & Faulty Items Upon Delivery
Every effort is made to ensure that all of our products leave us exactly as we want you to receive them, however, sometimes things do go wrong. If this has happened to something that you have ordered, please notify us of faulty or damaged items within 48 hours of receiving your item delivery. We strive to resolve issues as quickly as possible for you.
